Arthritis Exercise - Persons with Arthritis Can Exercise

This class is held in the aerobics room. The leader of this class is certified by the arthritis foundation to teach this class. Anyone who suffers from arthritics can take this class. Class includes flexibility and strength. This class is provided free of charge to the community by the YMCA. You must register before attending the class.

 

Step/Kickboxing

Kickboxing is aerobic training which releases stress while over all conditioning. It is for all fitness levels.

Step is low impact and consist of stepping up and down on a platform. This class can be challenging but it is structured for all fitness levels.

 

Pilates

Pilates is a great place to start is you have not exercised in a long time. Plates is a series of movements that are linked with the breath and are preformed on an exercise mat.

 

Spin

Spinning is an individually paced non-competitive group training system conducted on bicycles. Beginners are welcomed and encouraged to arrive 15 minutes early for class for safety instructions.
